Pursued for Eternity

The word ‘Forever’ has been constantly on my mind as I think more on my future with the Lord. It is a future that goes on beyond my future in the next twenty, thirty or fifty years. Beyond career, a spouse, children, dreams and aspirations. It is a ‘forever’ future; a blessing I was given since making that one decision to follow Jesus Christ. From such a precious gift of eternal life comes the exhortation that requires the best from my life here on earth; eternity consciousness.

Verses for an Eternity conscious Life

  • “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17
  • “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” 2 Corinthians 5:1
  • “See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16
  • “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth.” Ecclesiastes 12:1

Therefore other things matter the least than the seeds you sow for eternity, everything comes second to doing God’s will, to pursuing holiness and living the sermon.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts..” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Remember in this new day that when Christ forfeited all glories and chose to die for you, it was all in pursuit of your eternity, the one thing that matters the most.

Blessed day,

Love, Lwaone
